Finest Food and Wine for Friends. This is what the "Table d'hotes" is all about. Gathering friendly people around a table "a la francaise", where friendly guests socialise and share a happy moment in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. It is also a moment to exchange useful tips about local pots and "hidden treasures" which will make you enjoy the region even better! You will taste a local and inventive Home-Cooking based on fresh products grown in the beautiful "gardens of France".
Here is a mouth-watering sample of our specialties. Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine (our well-known local goat cheese, famous in the Loire Valley and beyond), young artichokes stuffed with mushrooms, Asparagus. Roasted Pork "A la Tourangelle", Bourgeuil wine, Prunes, baby Mushrooms and Walnuts. Tarragon Chicken, Anjou wine, Mushrooms, Cream and onions. Stuffed chicken Breast with "Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine" (goat cheese), Nougat "from Tours", fruit tarts of the season.
The guest meal includes a Starter, a Main with seasonal vegetables, Dessert or Cheese (depending on the Main), paired Wine and Coffee. Price is 25€ per adult, 6€ for children. Meals are served in the guest Dining room, or at the outdoor terrace along the river depending on weather conditions).
